Jennifer? Oh yes, I remember her well. We used to go way back when we were both still single and living in the wilds of Brighton UK. Back then, we'd spend our weekends exploring the city's many charms - from the bustling Laines shopping district to the quaint seaside village of Hove.
One fateful day, we decided to venture down to the iconic Brighton Pier for some nostalgic fun. The pier is a must-see attraction for any visitor or local alike, with its vibrant amusement arcades, fish and chips stands, and the infamous helter skelter ride that sends thrill-seekers plummeting into the abyss!
After spending a few hours on the pier, we decided to take a leisurely stroll back towards our humble abodes. As fate would have it, we passed by 127 Lewes Rd - the address of John Hilton Estate Agents. Now, this isn't the most glamorous place in town, but something about their sign caught our attention...
It read: "For all your real estate needs, look no further than John Hilton Estate Agents!"
Well, we just couldn't resist stopping by to check it out. Little did we know that our lives were about to change forever! As we stepped inside the office, we were greeted by a friendly face - none other than John himself! He was a charming fellow, with an uncanny ability to make even the most mundane details of property buying and selling sound fascinating.
We spent the next few hours chatting away about everything under the sun: from the best fish and chip shops in town (Jennifer insisted that the one on the pier was overrated) to the merits of different neighborhoods for first-time buyers (she recommended Hove, while I was partial to Kemptown).
As we wrapped up our conversation, John handed us each a business card. "I know you're not in the market right now," he said with a wink, "but when you are, don't hesitate to give me a call."
And that's how it all began - our lifelong love affair with real estate and John Hilton Estate Agents. Fast forward to today, Jennifer and I have both bought and sold several properties through John's expertise. And let me tell you, he never disappoints! His knowledge of the market is unparalleled, his negotiation skills are top-notch, and his ability to match the right buyer with the perfect home is truly a gift.
So if you ever find yourself in Brighton UK, make sure to swing by 127 Lewes Rd and say hello to John Hilton Estate Agents. Tell them Jennifer sent you - they'll know exactly who you mean!

I cannot believe I am writing this review about Justin Lloyd Estate Agents, Hove Office because my experience with them last summer was nothing short of despair. My partner and I were in search of a new property in Brighton UK, filled with hope and excitement for our future. However, that all changed when we stumbled upon these estate agents. Firstly, their customer service left much to be desired. We reached out to them multiple times via phone and email, only to receive delayed or no responses at all. It felt as if they didn't care about our needs or wants, which was incredibly disheartening. Secondly, when we did manage to get in touch with them, the information they provided us with was incomplete or simply incorrect. We were shown properties that did not meet our requirements or had already been sold, leaving us feeling frustrated and confused. It was as if they didn't bother to actually listen to what we wanted. Thirdly, their pricing strategy left us bewildered. The fees they charged for their services seemed exorbitant, especially considering the lack of results we saw. We felt like we were paying a hefty price for mediocre service. Today's news has only added to our dismay. With the Japanese yen facing mounting pressure due to rising US Treasury yields, it seems as if everything is working against us. The dollar/yen pair has held near a 34-year high despite officials' jawboning efforts, leaving us feeling helpless and uncertain about our financial future. It's almost as if the world is conspiring against us. Other currencies, including the NZD, GBP, and EUR, saw slight movements, while the greenback was near a two-week low due to reassessments regarding Fed rate cuts. We were hopeful that this might mean some relief for us, but it seems like an uphill battle at best. The Aussie fell slightly, which is particularly concerning as we had our hearts set on moving there. It feels like every turn we take leads us further down a path of despair and hopelessness. In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone looking for an estate agent in Brighton UK to steer clear of Justin Lloyd Estate Agents, Hove Office. Our experience with them was nothing short of disastrous, and the current state of the global economy only adds to our woes. We feel as though we are drowning in a sea of uncertainty and despair, and it's all thanks to these estate agents who failed us at every turn.

little did I know that my fate would be sealed by the hands of Carr & Priddle. From their dingy offices, located in the heart of Brighton's most run-down neighborhood, they lured me with promises of finding my dream home. But oh, how wrong they were. Their so-called 'properties' were nothing short of nightmares come to life. Crumbling walls, rusted pipes, and an overwhelming smell that could only be described as death - these were the delights that Carr & Priddle had in store for me. And as I delved deeper into their web of deceit, I began to suspect that they were not just unscrupulous estate agents, but something far more sinister. Their agents, with their hollow eyes and pale complexions, seemed to be straight out of a horror movie. They whispered in my ear, promising me the moon and the stars, while I couldn't help but feel that they were leading me down a path of darkness. And when I finally mustered the courage to confront them about their questionable practices, they simply laughed and brushed it off as 'business as usual'. As I write this, Salesforce is in advanced talks to buy Informatica, leaving me to wonder if Carr & Priddle will be next on their list of acquisitions. I shudder at the thought of these two giants merging, for I know that the world of real estate will never be the same again. And as for me? I'm still out here, searching for my dream home, but now I do so with a newfound sense of terror and trepidation - thanks to Carr & Priddle.

I have come to expect a certain level of service from estate agents. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Brand Vaughan left me feeling cynical and distrustful. It all began in December when my partner and I decided to look for a property in Brighton. We had heard mixed reviews about Brand Vaughan, but we decided to give them a chance due to their prominent location on the high street. From the outset, our interactions with the agency left us feeling uneasy. The receptionist seemed disinterested and unhelpful when we called to arrange viewings. She promised that an agent would call us back within 24 hours, but we waited for over three days before finally receiving a call. When we did speak to an agent, they were polite enough but seemed more interested in pushing us towards expensive properties than finding us something that fit our budget. Our first viewing was a disaster. The property was in poor condition, and the agent made numerous excuses as to why certain issues hadn't been addressed by the landlord. We left the viewing feeling disillusioned and frustrated, but we decided to give Brand Vaughan one more chance. Our second viewing was similarly underwhelming. The agent seemed more interested in chatting about their own experiences of buying and selling property than actually showing us around the house. Today, as I read about the ongoing scandal surrounding Brand Vaughan's parent company, Countrywide, my skepticism is confirmed. It turns out that this estate giant has been accused of overcharging tenants and failing to properly manage their properties. The news comes as no surprise to me - after all, our experiences with Brand Vaughan left us feeling like we were being taken for a ride. In light of these revelations, I would strongly advise potential buyers and renters to steer clear of Brand Vaughan and Countrywide. These companies have proven themselves to be more interested in lining their own pockets than providing a high-quality service to their clients. Instead, I would recommend seeking out smaller, independent agencies who are genuinely committed to finding you the best possible property at a fair price. It's time to put an end to the culture of greed and corruption that has taken hold within the estate agency industry, and it starts with choosing to work with companies that prioritize honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction above all else.

As a couple looking for our dream home in Brighton, UK, we had the pleasure of working with Charters Estate Agents over a year ago. Our experience with them was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked into their office, we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who immediately put us at ease. They listened carefully to our requirements and presented us with a range of properties that matched our criteria perfectly. We ended up finding our perfect home through Charters, thanks in no small part to their professionalism and expertise. Today's news about Russia defying sanctions is particularly interesting in light of our experience with Charters. It seems that social support and military production have played a significant role in fueling Russia's growing economy, much like the community spirit and thriving local businesses we saw firsthand while house hunting in Brighton. Additionally, China's trade with Russia has also contributed to this economic growth. While inflation is currently high in Russia, it is being offset by soaring wages due to a labor shortage caused by the ongoing conflict. Consumer confidence is also at an all-time high, but a looming budget gap may lead to future tax hikes. Despite these challenges, Charters' success in matching us with our ideal home gave us hope that with perseverance and determination, we can overcome any obstacle. In summary, working with Charters Estate Agents was an exceptional experience, and their expertise and commitment to finding the right property for their clients are a testament to the thriving economy and community spirit we saw in Brighton, as well as the resilience of Russia's economy in light of current events.
